Is story writting considered an art?

MalaikaMizaati's picture

I am a furry Author and consider my writtings, yiffible and non, to be a form of art; same with my poetry, also furry. I would also like to help those who want to know techniques for writting prose/poetry.

A character!

I am working on a story called "War for Time", which is about my old fursona, Shroud (a blue lion who can control electricity). This is a supporting char, named Aronos. Aronos has 2 forms, and this is the one that she spends the majority of the story as. Aronos is a very interesting and fun character, because she is a villain who actually hates being on the bad sideX3 It's complicated:P

Just some stuff I did

Not much. Currently going through college for a major in art. Just some spare time drawings I've done on my own time on my own will. Lets start with this one shall we.

Recent one I made. I'm a warhammer player thats for sure. I sometimes like to change my space marine character to encompass my furson. SO yeah...I kind of screwed this up a bit...I didn't do all of the lighint correcntly...and well...uh didn't have any glow for the las sword on his body armor either. =/ Still learning how to use photoshop. I did this completely freehand in photoshop with a mouse. I use photoshop CS2 for those who wonder just in case.

Rat Project - WIPs

Drakenhart's picture

Hey all, just a bit of a drop off. This is my current project. Working on set of four images, rat-based, different varieties of anthros.

The "subjects" are of a Mystic, Guardian, Protector, and Watcher. So far the Mystic is the most done, and the Guardian has become a rat-taur. Very strange.

RainOubliette's picture

Hi! I'm Rain and my comic is "Funny Animals". I have a website that I update every Sunday or Monday with the weeks new strip. The list of characters are:
Rain - a cat who's a goofball; Sunflower - a horse who is a new-age, hippy; Peep - a sheep fashion diva; Lorin - a gearhead red fox; Fonatine - a big, brown bear who sleeps a lot; Paw - a hound dog who is the philosopher of the group; Yule - a 6'8" tall rabbit who is unlucky, unhealthy and unhappy; Salmon Dave - a rock n roll fish; Zortman - the crabby, old chicken who hates everyone; and Trey Pidar - a nervous, stupid coyote who tries to eat everyone.

Showing off a little bit of Philly pride

The Love Park monument downtown...SL style. Sticking out tongue

Just so you know, serif fonts can be a PAIN to make in Second Life. O_o

What goes here?

This is probably a stupid question, but...

Would it be okay to post in this Artwork forum commissioned work that other artists have drawn of my character to show what I look like in the furry world? Or should images posted in this forum be restricted to content created by the user posting it?
