Hey guys, I'm in a bit of a predicament. I don't know if I want to portray that I'm into the fandom. I enjoy the anthro art and writing, it just looks really cool and the writing is great. However, I'm worried what others will think of me for it. I know how much prejudice and ridicule there is towards the fandom and I try to avoid that as much as I can. Is it wrong to keep my interest a secret? I don't know if I should just stand up and declare I'm a furry and just live with the persecution from the world and my family or not. I'm pretty much new to this and I haven't decided on an animal yet. I really want to get into it though because the community is so welcoming and loves having a good time which is just perfect for me and I do love animals a lot. Any help would be appreciated.
