A couple of possible features to add?

I'm noticing an uncomfortable lack of features in this forum that other forums have, such as the ability to subscribe to threads and the ability to link images to a post.

Would it be at all possible to be able to subscribe to threads in the future? And, if possible, to subscribe to ALL threads by default, so they appear in my inbox?

The other thing is that is not one of the HTML tags that the forums allow. I can understand that this would cause a lot of bandwidth trouble on a mailing list (or if the previous suggestion was fulfilled), but in a forum, images hosted on another server should not cause any trouble. O_o

Firstly, Drupal isn't *just* a forum, it's a more generalized content management system. So the things we can do on this site don't just stop at forums. For example, Drupal has an event calendar module, as well as an RSVP module, which I'm going to take a look at and see if they can be useful for organizing furmeets in the future. This is part of the reason why I picked Drupal, because it's very extensible.

Probably. I've been looking at the notify module and subscription module. I intend to install and test these out as time permits.

And those HTML tags would be...?

Looking at the the module list, the quicktags module looks like it might be of some help. I'll check that out too.

Whoops. I actually typed the tag between "is" and "that" and it didn't make it out alive. Sad (I was referring to IMG)
