Furries in general tend to be a pretty sociable bunch. I learned that at my first Anthrocon back in 1999.

There's plenty of events and panels which you might find of interest, and the panels are a great way to interact with people.

Well it looks like I won't be going to AnthroCon this year because I have to work during those times and my parents don't really want me going by myself to a Con cause they are over-protective. Maybe I can go next year. I'm also hoping to be able to go to the WPAFW this year and hang out with all you cool furs. And the invitation to hang out sometime is allways open so you guys can just message me if you want to.

You know, bringing your parents along is always an option.

The Chairman's parents attend every single year and love the con. My parents have attended a couple of times as well.

Well my parents don't really accept that I am a furry and they wouldn't really go anywhere with me. But I am trying to get some of my non-furry, art loving friends to come along so my parents will let me go.

I know exactly how you feel. My parents don't really support the whole concept of furries, and I'm a tad bit young to go about doing these things on my own.

After all, I gotta get a driver's license, right?

Yeah, getting a drivers license is one of the best things that happened to me. It gives you so much more freedom to go where ever you want.

Heh, yeah, that's why I look forward to it so much...
