Pittsburgh's Monthly Fur Meet! Due to the ever decreasing amount of space for us at the Panera in Oakland, we're taking the event to the Panera Bread in Ross Township. With the move to the new digs we get to finally take advantage of their Private Meeting Room! Come and relax with friends old and new; break out your sketchbook and be creative over a warm cup of chai; play cards or other table top games; or open your laptop and surf the net over the free wireless connection. The meet is what you make of it, so come on out and have some fun with fellow Pittsburgh Area furs! Don't forget to bring and show off your con badges if you have them! Hey everyone, I've had some folks ask my recent what's going on with the site, and am I still maintaining it? The answer is yes, I am still running the website. Sadly, it is long overdue for some upgrades, and a move to a much faster server. I hope to have that done sometime in the next weekends, as my schedule permits. In case you hadn't heard, we've been having monthly Fur Meets on the second Thursday evening from 7-9PM at the Panera Bread on the Blvd of the Allies in the Oakland section of Pittsburgh. We're breaking away from that mold in August and taking the meet to Pittsburgh's largest video arcade and game center. Games N-At, http://www.gamesnat.com/, is on the South Side and offers game play ALL NIGHT for $8! (Unlimited play does not apply on duck pins and ticket games.) They also have a small, but well stocked and reasonably priced snack bar on site. |
